Dumpstar Hauling & Dumpster Rental started the way a lot of good local businesses do: with a problem nobody else seemed interested in fixing. Josh had spent years working in construction around Lexington, and kept running into the same frustration — dumpster companies that showed up late, charged fees nobody mentioned upfront, or rolled a steel container across a driveway without giving it a second thought. Somewhere along the way, "that's just how it is" stopped being good enough.
So in 2001, Dumpstar Hauling & Dumpster Rental opened with a different approach: be the company that actually answers the phone, shows up when it says it will, and treats your driveway like it matters — because it does. More than five years later, that's still the whole philosophy. We haven't grown into a call center with a fleet of trucks and a script.
